| Kris Carter is a digital colourist and illustrator based outside Cardiff, South Wales. Since 2008, Kris has worked as a freelance colourist within the comic industry, with published work for a number of titles and clients, across the US and the UK. Prior to this Kris worked within the graphic design industry, designing brochures, menus, leaflets and posters for Harlequin Colour Press, one of the UK's market leaders. Kris also has experience within the newspaper industry, having spent almost three years working as the Production Manager for the Connersville News-Examiner in Indiana, USA, where he oversaw the pre-press process, and designed the layouts and advertising for a daily 8,000 circulation newspaper and it's various magazines and inserts.
In addition to his colouring & illustration work, Kris is also co-creator of a new small press independent comic-book, Lou Scannon.
"Kris Carter's name is something I'm always glad to see in a comic-book byline, but am even happier when it's alongside my own. Possessing a versatile skill-set that can evolve and adapt to suit whichever project he's currently on, Kris is a creative collaborator in every sense of the word. It's rare to work with someone so attuned to the story he's helping create; someone who's willing to grow and experiment on-the-job, and who clearly enjoys exploring the creative process. More than just a safe pair of hands (but never anything less), Kris's communication skills - with his collaborator AND his reader - are what sets him above others."
